It's been a long long time

 Hello to whoever reads this. It's been a very long time since I was here. Well over 2 years. Not much has happened in that time though, apart from a lot of turmoil. I went through four mobile phones and three internet connections. Bought a lot of books and I guess have become a bit wiser since. Winter came and went, but like all Bangalore winters, was cool and cozy, and there are always second guesses as to when it actually goes away. Oh, I forgot to mention that I have a laptop now, which I bought in March 2012. It's pretty good.
 Mundane has a new meaning for me, and I've tried very hard to make mundane "interesting". I started painting again, and I find it surprising that I realized my love for pastels. I touched up on 3/4 of my old "creations" and made 2 new ones. It's all mountains and scenery mostly, but It's fun. I was hit with a sudden spurt of creativity in these days and planned to do a lot of things. My new mobile has a 2 megapix camera, and I have been snapping up a few pics here and there.



So much for today I guess, as I promise to return again, to write about something new...

A Day to Remember: Friends, F1, and Fantastic Food!

It had been a year since my last get-together with my two friends, and we were all buzzing with anticipation for this meetup. The occasion felt even more special because Sahil, one of our trio, will soon be leaving Bangalore. This was likely our last chance to meet for a while, making every moment count. Having lived in Bangalore for 19 years, I've visited this iconic movie hall a few times, and it never disappoints. Reclaiming My Focus: A Journey Away From Mindless Scrolling

Today marks a significant shift in my life. I've committed to a new path: stepping away from social media's endless scroll. Specifically, I'm aiming to completely stop accessing platforms like Instagram and YouTube for casual browsing. It's been an eye-opener to realize just how ingrained this habit has become – almost automatically, my fingers would open these apps, leading me down a rabbit hole of random content for what felt like an endless amount of time. There was no real stop point, no trigger to pull me away. This realization prompted me to dig deeper. I turned to AI apps, curious about the potential links between social media scrolling, anxiety, and other detrimental factors. The results were, frankly, jaw-dropping. My intuition was correct.
